OBS architected and implemented Microsoft Active Directory for the Victorian Department of Education and Training . With over 70,000 users across 1800 locations, the Active Directory provides a central point for authentication, access control and key employee information across schools and regional offices. To help DE&T reduce IT management cost and improve levels of service, OBS has developed a set of account management and employee self serve tools that enable teachers and staff to manage accounts and personal directory information without IT intervention.
OBS developed an employee self serve directory update tool for Ericsson Australia. This tool allows users to maintain their own address book details in the Active Directory while ensuring data integrity through rules set by IT staff.
OBS developed a directory synchronisation application for the Victorian Police, that automatically populates directory information with data extracted from the organisations HR system.
