Austereo runs two national radio networks across Australia – TODAY and Triple M which broadcast across all major cities and two major regional cities. Listed on the Australian stock exchange Austereo have exported key competitive advantages to offshore markets including Malaysia, Greece and the UK.
Austereo were interested in Sharepoint technologies for their intranet and sought out OBS to design a solution which would enable them to move this technology efficiently and effectively from a static HTML environment.
Working closely with key stakeholders including Austereo’s internal IT team, OBS was able to meet Austereo’s business goals, with a key focus on minimising risk and increasing user acceptance of the ‘Basestation’ solution
The successful implementation of Basestation has ensured Austereo achieve ‘Anytime, Anywhere’ access to corporate information including Austereo Policies and Radio codes, department information and Outlook Webmail. Maximising SharePoint portal Basestation and the Windows Sharepoint Services sites, OBS has enabled the users at Austereo to search multiple sites, ensuring integral business information is available as and when required.
