McGrathNicol is an independent boutique advisory firm specialising in Corporate Advisory, Forensic, Transaction Services and Corporate Recovery. They are a market leader in Australia and in New Zealand, with more than 30 Partners and 300 people across the region.
McGrathNicol engaged OBS to improve the internal HR Performance Management system used to track and manage an employees’ annual performance including project reviews. The existing system had two major challenges. It could not produce meaningful reports due to propriety database and once initial information was collected, handle any updates to employee’s personal information such as change of address or job title.
The implemented OBS enhanced solution was built on McGrathNicol’s existing Microsoft SharePoint platform using Microsoft’s Silverlight technologies. Not only did the solution resolve both of the highlighted challenges, the solution was executed with minimum interference to the existing system and business operations.
